Positioning is the place you occupy in your target customer’s mind. As stated in The 22 Immutable Laws of Marketing, “The goal is that, when your customer decides they’re ready to buy, they think of you first.”
Typically two elements are included in the positioning statement: Your unique selling position (what makes your business unique) and your target market (your most important customer segment).
